As the Member of Parliament (MP) for Stretford and Urmston, it is my job to represent the people that live within the constituency.

I raise the issues that matter to the local people in the House of Commons. In Parliament, I also ask government ministers questions about current issues, including those which affect my constituents.

I split my time between Stretford and Urmston and Parliament itself.

When I’m in the constituency, I hold regular surgeries, so that where local people can come along to discuss any matter that is concerning them. I also visit schools, businesses, charities and services with the constituency.
