Andrew visited United Utilities wastewater treatment plant in Davyhulme for a tour of the facilities and a sit down with management.
As well as being at the forefront of wastewater treatment technology worldwide, it is still the third biggest such site in the UK and serves 1.4 million people across Greater Manchester.
Andrew used the opportunity to raise multiple recent issues that residents have had with United Utilities. One of the main complaints he receives is around their communication and they have agreed to be more proactive, whether this is on planned works or emergency situations.
