Andrew Western, the MP for Stretford and Urmston, has revealed the winners of his first ever Eid colouring-in competition.

The children that produced the winning designs were Imaan and Haniya from Victoria Park Infant School, Jake from Longford Park School and Coral from Moss Park Primary School.

It is the first time that Andrew has ran a creative competition for Eid. Children from across Andrew’s constituency were invited to take part and the MP received hundreds of entries. The winners were featured on Andrew’s Eid video wish, which was published on his social media channels.

Andrew Western said: “I wanted to mark Eid and I know how much the children within my constituency enjoy art and design. My Christmas card design competition was really successful and this Eid competition has been just as popular!

“I want to thank everyone that took part in the competition and wish Eid Mubarak to all those that are celebrating.”
