Tesco’s has officially launched its Winter Food Collection. Local MP, Andrew Western, was invited along to Tesco’s in Old Trafford, to meet The Trussell Trust and FareShare – the two partner charities behind this food drive.

Food collected in local Tesco’s during the Winter Food Collection event will then be distributed via Stretford Foodbank (which is part of The Trussell Trust).

When customers enter the store, they should be able to spot a volunteer, who will have a shopping list, containing items that Stretford Foodbank currently needs. If you don’t spot a volunteer, you can click here to find out what the foodbank is currently running low on.
