Andrew visits Moss Park Primary School during UK Parliament Week.

To mark UK Parliament Week, Andrew Western, the MP for Stretford and Urmston, visited Moss Park Primary School in Stretford.

UK Parliament Week is an annual event that aims to inspire interest in parliament, politics and democracy. It also serves to encourage young people and the public to engage with the UK’s democratic system and institutions.

Andrew Western said: “I was invited to Moss Park Primary School today, to take part in the school’s UK Parliament Week activities. The children asked me questions about my role as their MP. I also met with the School Council and I was able to present each elected member with a badge.

“I believe that it’s important that everybody has their say, which is why it’s so great to see young people in my constituency engaging with politics during UK Parliament Week.”
