Pupils at Urmston Primary School met their local MP today, to discuss their concerns about climate change.

Although Andrew was there to discuss the children’s concerns about climate change, pupils also used the opportunity to ask the MP general questions about his role, and the job he does in Westminster.

Andrew Western said: “It was great to meet Year 6 pupils at Urmston Primary School. They asked me to come in, because they are writing letters to Rishi Sunak, to ask him to support their pledges to reduce the impact of climate change.

“During the visit, the children asked me a range of brilliant questions. It was great to meet them and to chat to them about my role as their MP.”
