Andrew Western has signed up to become a Dementia Research Champion – to help those that are battling Dementia symptoms, which often affect their memory, thinking and social abilities.
A Dementia Research Champion is an MP who uses their voice in parliament to champion dementia research and raise awareness of the policy changes that Dementia Research feels it need to see, in order to revolutionise the way the UK prevents, diagnoses, and treats dementia.
Andrew Western said: “Dementia is an issue that impacts thousands of people within my constituency of Stretford and Urmston, so I am happy to sign up to be a Dementia Research Champion. I will do all I can to ensure that Dementia suffers – and their carers – get the support they need.”
