Andrew Western, the MP for Stretford and Urmston, recently visited Arco – a health and safety equipment distributer, based in Trafford Park.

At its Trafford Park site, Arco offers a range of services to help businesses to reduce risk in the workplace. The centre has a confined space training space, which has more than 30 metres of tunnels and chambers and a variety of entry points. It also has equipment that simulates different working-at-height situations – including an external rooftop training facility, with additional internal rooftop systems, a working-at-height gantry and a pitched roof.

Following the visit, Andrew Western said: “It was great to visit the site, to meet the staff and to discuss Arco’s work within the constituency. It was also interesting to learn more about Arco’s wider business across the North West.”
