Andrew Western, the MP for Stretford and Urmston, visited Longford Park School in Stretford today. The visit was arranged so that he could hear about the school’s plans for the year ahead and meet the pupils in person.

During visit, Andrew heard about the school’s development plans and saw the builders in action. He also met pupils in each classroom – they had plenty of questions for him!

Andrew Western said: “I was delighted to visit Longford Park School – a school I’ve not been to before – to meet with the headteacher and to tour the school. I was able to have a brief chat with every class, including the Year 2’s who though I was the King!”

“I also heard about how the school’s development plans; everybody is very excited about the new classrooms that are currently being built.

“I’d like to thank the children and teachers for showing me around.”
